2026 Playoff TICKETS FAQ
When will playoff games be played?
The 2026 CEBL Playoffs are scheduled as follows:
- Conference Semifinals: Thursday, August 6
- Conference Finals: Saturday, August 8
- CEBL Finals (Best-of-Three Series):
- Game 1: Wednesday, August 12
- Game 2: Saturday, August 15
- Game 3 (if necessary): Sunday, August 16
Please note that the Niagara River Lions are not guaranteed to host every round. Home games will depend on playoff qualification and seeding.
When will I know if a home playoff game is happening?
As soon as the River Lions clinch a home playoff game, we'll announce the opponent, game date, and tip-off time on our website and social media channels. Ticket holders will also receive an email with all event details.
Why are tickets on sale before the game is confirmed?
The CEBL playoff schedule has a very quick turnaround between games, leaving limited time to sell tickets once matchups are finalized. Selling tickets in advance allows us to secure your seats and prepare for a potential home playoff game.
Do Season Ticket Members already have playoff tickets?
Yes.
Season Ticket Members have one potential home playoff game included in their 2026 Season Ticket Membership and will automatically receive their regular seats for that game.
If the River Lions host additional playoff games, Season Ticket Members will receive priority access and a dedicated purchase window to secure their existing seats before they are released to the general public and will receive their same season ticket rate on seats.
Due to the quick turnaround between playoff games, this dedicated purchase window will be short once additional home playoff games are confirmed—season ticket holders have the opportunity to secure additional playoff game tickets in their regular seats via River Lions Account Manager before the team officially advances and will be refunded in 3-5 business days if the game or games are not played.
What happens if the River Lions don't host a playoff game that I've purchased tickets for?
If a game you purchased tickets for is not played, refunds will be processed automatically.
- Single-game purchasers: A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
- Season Ticket Members: The value of your included Game 1 playoff ticket will be applied as a credit toward your 2027 Season Ticket Membership. Any additional playoff tickets purchased (Games 2, 3, or 4, if applicable) will be refunded to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Will my seats be the same as the regular season?
Yes. Season Ticket Members will retain their regular seats for their included playoff game and will have first opportunity to purchase those same seats for any additional home playoff games.
Can I buy tickets for multiple potential home games?
Yes. Tickets may be purchased for each potential home playoff game. If a game is not hosted or does not become necessary, eligible purchases will be automatically refunded.
Who will the River Lions play?
The opponent will depend on the final regular season standings and playoff results. Matchups will be confirmed once the playoff bracket is finalized.
Can I exchange or transfer my playoff tickets?
Playoff tickets are transferable through your Account Manager as usual. Season Ticket Holders can contact our office and upgrade or change their seat location as required.
