BUSINESS OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP (Fall 2025)
Join the Niagara River Lions and gain real-world experience behind the scenes in the sports industry. As a Business Operations Intern, you’ll be a key player in supporting game-day execution, community initiatives, and daily team operations—while being treated like a valued team member from day one.
What You’ll Do: Assist with planning and running events and game-day operations, support community outreach and act as a brand ambassador, help with marketing, social media, and sponsorship fulfillment, contribute to merchandise, admin duties, and day-to-day team tasks.

Requirements: Internship must be for academic credit and evening & weekend availability may be required

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & EVENTS INTERNSHIP (fall 2025):
Join the Niagara River Lions and gain hands-on experience in community engagement, fan relations, and event execution. As an intern, you’ll play an essential role in planning and running events, representing the team at appearances, and building strong community relationships across the Niagara Region.
What You’ll Do: Assist with school visits, youth clinics, and community events, represent the River Lions as a brand ambassador, support grassroots marketing and outreach initiatives, collaborate with schools, non-profits, and local organizations, help manage event-related social media and sponsorship fulfillment.

TICKET SALES & PARTNERSHIPS INTERNSHIP (Fall 2025):
Get your start in the business of sports with the Niagara River Lions! This internship offers hands-on experience in sales, CRM management, and corporate partnerships. You’ll help generate leads, assist with sponsorship presentations, support marketing campaigns, and engage with fans and partners at events.
What You’ll Do: Support B2B/B2C sales efforts and lead generation, manage prospects in CRM database, assist in sponsorship outreach and presentations, help execute sales campaigns and fan engagement initiatives, and represent the River Lions at community events.
Perks: Industry mentorship, official team swag and networking opportunities and real-world experience.
