A championship-bred veteran forward known for his immense winning impact and balanced, multi-positional defensive versatility. Following a legendary U SPORTS career where Lall captured four National Championships with Carleton and an OUA West MVP at Brock, he transitioned to an expansive global itinerary spanning Japan, the UK, and the Netherlands. His high-IQ floor mapping, active hands, and baseline cutting make him a premium two-way asset both overseas and in the CEBL. 


PROFESSIONAL Career

2025–26 Season (Current)

Having successfully worked his way back to health, Lall has checked into 7 games for the Niagara River Lions this summer, providing veteran depth with 3.4 points, 1.1  rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 55.6% from the floor, 36.4% from three, and 0.0% from the line. 


2024–25 Season

Lall suited up for 38 games in the BNXT League for ZZ Leiden, recording 9.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 steals per game on 48.0% field-goal, 37.1% from three, and 75.0% from the free-throw line before taking a necessary hiatus to rehabilitate a knee injury. 


2023–24 Season

Lall put together a strong 34-game campaign in England for the Leicester Riders, averaging 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.9 steals while shooting 49.4% from the field, 40.0% from deep, and 67.3% from the line. 


Immediately following that, Lall logged 19 games for Niagara to post 9.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.4 steals per contest while shooting 43.8% from the field, 33.3% from deep, and 83.3% from the line, helping them secure the 2024 championship. 


2022–23 Season

Heading overseas to Japan's B.League, Lall played 11 games for Kyoto Hannaryz, averaging 6.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 39.1% field goal, 33.3% three-point, and 63.0% free-throw.


Lall then returned to St. Catharines to log 20 appearances for the Niagara River Lions; he averaged 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.7 blocks on 43.4% FG, 35.1% 3PT, and 67.4% FT shooting. 


2021–22 Season

Returning to Guelph for 13 games, Lall elevated his impact significantly to average 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.2 blocks while shooting 49.0% from the field, 34.5% from deep, and 76.7% from the line. 


2020–21 Season

Lall joined the Guelph Nighthawks for 15 games, establishing his multi-positional value with 5.5 points, 4.5 boards, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per matchup on 49.2% shooting from the floor, 39.1% from three, and 58.8% from the line. 


2019–20 Season

Making his pro debut after being drafted first overall, Lall appeared in 8 summer games for the Ottawa Blackjacks, posting 2.8 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.1 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest on 33.3% field goals, 25.0% from deep, and 69.2% from the stripe. 


COLLEGIATE Career

2021-2022 Season

Transferring to Brock University for a legendary graduate year, Lall captured the OUA Wilson Cup Championship, earned OUA First Team All-Star and U SPORTS All-Canadian honours, while also securing the OUA West MVP, putting up a massive 22.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks on an extremely efficient 51.6% from the field, 41.3% from three, and 79.2% from the line over 19 games. 


2020-21 Season (Cancelled Due to Covid)

Lall's final scheduled season with Carleton was unfortunately cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in no official stats. 


2019-20 Season

In a brief 3-game stint with Carleton, Lall was highly efficient, helping secure a U SPORTS National Championship while stuffing the stat sheet with 11.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.7 blocks per match on 60.0% shooting from the field, 33.3% from three, and 80.0% from the line. 


2018-19 Season

Lall became a premier force for the Ravens across 39 appearances, winning another U SPORTS National Championship and an OUA Title, securing OUA Second Team All-Star honours, logging 11.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game while shooting 50.3% from the floor, 25.4% from three-point land, and 75.7% from the charity stripe.


2017-18 Season

Appearing in 40 contests during Carleton's deep tournament runs, Lall helped his program secure the OUA Wilson Cup Title while providing steady frontcourt production with 7.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 45.7% from the floor, 31.9% from deep, and 73.5% from the line. 


2016-17 Season

Lall earned an expanded role with the Ravens over 28 games, claiming his second consecutive U SPORTS National Championship while scoring 5.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest while showcasing elite efficiency by knocking down 53.1% of his field goals, 50.0% of his three-pointers, and 85.7% of his free throws. 


2015-16 Season

Lall began his career as a depth piece for the Carleton Ravens in U SPORTS, capturing the U SPORTS National Championship while logging 26 appearances and averaging 2.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks on 41.5% from the field, 33.3% from three, and 50.0% from the free-throw line. 


Notable ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Drafted 1st overall in the 2020 CEBL U SPORTS Draft by the Ottawa BlackJacks.
  • Won 4 U SPORTS National Championships and 3 OUA titles with the powerhouse Carleton Ravens.
  • Named OUA West MVP and First Team All-Canadian during his dominant single season at Brock (2021-22).


Did you know? National Boxing Champion: Lall's father was a competitive kickboxer, and TJ himself took up competitive boxing at a young age, winning a National Boxing Championship before shifting his focus fully to basketball at age 15.
