St. Catharines, ON – The Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) are pleased to announce that season tickets for the upcoming 2022 campaign are on sale now.

With 10 home games played inside the Meridian Centre downtown St. Catharines, the River Lions events will feature non-stop entertainment before, during and after world class professional basketball games. Season tickets are priced from $165 to $275 in the bowl seating, and $550 to $850 for courtside seats on the floor. The seating map is linked here.

Fans will be able to purchase single game tickets, voucher packs (6-game and 10-game), group tickets, and marquee matchup packs in the near future, with all expected to be on sale early this spring.

The River Lions open their season Wednesday May 25 at 9:30pm (ET) on the road against the Saskatchewan Rattlers. The home opener will take place on Friday June 3 at 7:00pm with the River Lions taking on the Montreal Alliance for the first time ever. This year will be the biggest season yet for the CEBL with 10 teams competing for the championship. New to the league this year are expansion teams in Scarborough, Newfoundland, and Montreal. Each team plays 10 home and 10 road games using FIBA (International Basketball Federation) rules, and player and referee standards set by Canada Basketball.

As a league created by Canadians for Canadians, the CEBL continues to demonstrate itself as a top tier basketball league for both professional development and fan experience. After an exciting second place finish last season, the River Lions hope to once again be one of the four teams advancing to Championship Weekend set to take place in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, Ontario.
