A lethal, multi-level scoring powerhouse celebrated as an elite, cold-blooded late-game closer. After a stellar NCAA Division I career at Cal State Fullerton, Ahmad established himself as a dominant international guard in Iceland, Denmark, Israel, and Italy. In the CEBL, his quick-twitch playmaking, deep perimeter range, and lock-down perimeter defence have driven him to multiple championship titles, Finals MVPs, and a league MVP honour with the Niagara River Lions. 


PROFESSIONAL Career

2025–26 Season (Current)

Across a busy global calendar, Ahmad appeared in 21 games for Maccabi Rishon Lezion in Israel, putting up 15.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.2 steals on 43.1% from the floor, 28.8% from three, and 85.7% from the line.


Ahmad also played 4 games for Enel Brindisi in Italy with averages of 13.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists on 28.1% from the floor, 27.3% from three, and 84.4% from the line. 

He is currently leading the line for the Niagara River Lions through 7 games with a massive 17.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 44.3% from the floor, 19.0% from three, and 87.8% from the line.


2024–25 Season

Ahmad suited up for 40 games with Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro in Italy's Serie A2, putting up 21.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 steals on 46.1% field-goal, 31.7% from three, and 81.7% from free-throw. 


Rejoining the River Lions for a 22-game campaign, Ahmad secured an All-CEBL Second Team nod, averaging 19.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.9 steals on 44.8% field-goal, 33.1% from three, and 82.1% from free-throw. Leading the River Lions to a 2nd consecutive CEBL championship, winning his 2nd FMVP.


2023–24 Season

Ahmad won the championship title in the BNXT League with Telenet BC Oostende across 9 games, averaging 12.8 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.3 steals on 40.7% from the field, 26.3% from long range, and 81.6% from the line. 


Ahmad then immediately returned to Niagara to guide them through 15 games, claiming the CEBL Clutch Player of the Year and All-CEBL First Team awards, logging 20.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 steals per match while shooting 45.0% from the field, 35.3% from long range, and 78.8% from the line. 


2022–23 Season

Ahmad took his elite scoring package to Israel's Winner League to log 12.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.3 steals over 27 appearances on 42.3% shooting, 26.6% from three, and 71.5% from the line for Hapoel Beer Sheva in the I-BSL. Along with 12 games played in the BIBL, averaging 8.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 0.8 on 42.9% from the field, 34.8% from three, and 85.2% from the free-throw line.


Returning to Niagara for 18 games to earn an All-CEBL First Team selection, dishing out a spectacular 6.0 assists to go along with 18.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks on 48.4% FG, 37.6% 3PT, and 81.0% FT shooting.


2021–22 Season

Ahmad moved over to Denmark's Basketligaen to anchor Horsens IC, playing 33 games and posting an elite line of 19.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, a career-high 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks while shooting 49.6% from the floor, 24.8% from three-point range, and 78.1% from the stripe.


Making his historic debut in Canada, Ahmad swept the awards as CEBL MVP, Clutch Player of the Year, and All-CEBL First Team, leading the Niagara offence with 20.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.9 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest, shooting 44.2% from the floor, 33.0% from three, and 82.0% from the line across 16 games.


2019–20 Season

Launching his pro career in Iceland's Urvalsdeild, Ahmad starred in 21 games for Keflavik, torching opposing defences for 19.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.1 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest while shooting 43.5% from the field, 33.3% from deep, and 76.5% from the line.


COLLEGIATE Career

2018-19 Season 

Ahmad closed out an elite collegiate career by earning an All-Big West First Team selection, starting 34 games for Cal State Fullerton, averaging a team-high 18.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks on 43.6% shooting from the floor, 31.8% from three, and 81.4% from the line. 


2017-18 Season

Serving as a primary offensive engine in 32 games, Ahmad secured an All-Big West Honourable Mention while pushing his scoring average to 15.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks per contest while knocking down an efficient 41.8% from the floor, 32.0% from deep, and 82.9% of his free throws.


2016-17 Season 

Ahmad maintained his double-digit scoring identity across 21 games for the Titans, logging 11.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game on 40.2% field goal, 31.5% three-point, and 72.7% free-throw shooting.

 

2015-16 Season

Ahmad burst onto the scene as a freshman at Cal State Fullerton, starting 30 games and earning Big West Freshman of the Year honours while averaging 14.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game while shooting 42.9% from the floor, 32.7% from deep, and 77.0% from the charity stripe.
