St. Catharines, ON - Regional organization Niagara Parks Commission has renewed their partnership with the Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). With this partnership, the Niagara River Lions will collaborate to produce a 3-part mini-series featuring River Lions players exploring Niagara Parks attractions and the Niagara Region.
“We are excited to be continuing our partnership with the Niagara River Lions, as they prepare for their 2021 season. Now more than ever, support and collaboration between community partners is essential to the success of everyone in the region,” said Sandie Bellows of the Niagara Parks Commission. “ The River Lions have provided Niagara Parks with unique opportunities to tell our story to an engaged local audience, and we look forward to building on this partnership in the upcoming year.”

“Niagara Parks Commission is an incredible pillar in the Greater Niagara Region, we are excited to showcase all that Niagara Parks have to offer and highlight the great initiatives they are involved in, we want to show Niagara residents what is waiting for them, in their own backyard. We are very excited for this partnership,” says River Lions Director of Partnerships and Sales, Chris Langdon.

The Niagara River Lions are one of the original six teams of the CEBL. Playing out of Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines, the River Lions represent the twelve municipalities of the Niagara Region while living up to the River Lions moniker of pride and strength of community.
