Professional Career
Kennedy has played professionally in Sweden and Portugal and now the CEBL from 2024 - 2026. Across his recent seasons, Kennedy has established himself as a volume shooter who is a threat from behind the arc, while also being active in the passing lanes generating turnovers on the defensive side of the ball.
2025-2026
Kennedy played 24 games for Imortal Albufeira in the Portuguese LPB, averaging 17.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.8 steals.
2024-2025
Kennedy played 8 games for Sporting Clube Portugal in the Portuguese LPB, averaging 8.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists and 2.2 steals. Kennedy started the season with UMEA Bskt of the Swedish Basketligan, averaging 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.5 steals in 13 games.
University/College Career
Kennedy played 116 games in his collegiate basketball career which began with his Freshman year with the Xavier Musketeers as a rotational player. Kennedy transferred to UTEP for his Redshirt Freshman year where he made an immediate impact starting in all 24 games that he appeared in. As a Sophomore Kennedy broke out averaging 14.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game for the Miners. Kennedy played his Junior year with the Memphis Tigers where he had his most efficient year shooting 46.1% from the field and 38.1% from behind the arc. In his Senior year Kennedy transferred to the California Golden Bears where he played alongside current NBA player Jaylon Tyson. Kennedy averaged 8.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and a team leading 1.5 steals per game.
Personal
Kennedy is from Aurora, Colorado and has solidified himself as a spark plug, bringing athleticism, length, and versatility to the Niagara River Lions.
