River Lions, IceDogs and Jackfish Partner Once Again for “Ultimate Niagara Fan Pack"
St. Catharines, ON - The Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and the Welland Jackfish of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), announced today the return of the “Ultimate Niagara Fan Pack” for the 2022 holiday season. This collaborative ticket package includes two mid-level tickets for each of the region’s favourite sports teams for the cost of $100.00. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to The RRPC Innovation Foundation. Sports enthusiasts can purchase the fan pack starting today until December 23, 2022.
The “Ultimate Niagara Fan Pack” was introduced in 2021 after Vice President of Operations for the River Lions, Michelle Biskup approached the IceDogs and Jackfish with the idea. After seeing success last year, it was an easy decision for the team’s to collaborate once again.
“We are thrilled to bring this unique ticket offering to sports fans across the region,” said Biskup. “We understand the importance of community and we know that working together only helps our organizations succeed.”
The IceDogs shared their excitement in joining the local sports community all while supporting the great charity of The RRPC Innovation Foundation. “The IceDogs are very excited to once again team up with the River Lions and Jackfish organizations to help showcase their talented athletes, and of course to unite the passionate fans of Niagara’s great sports teams!”, commented Elijah DiDomenico, Manager of Ticket Sales for the IceDogs.
Hockey and basketball fans who are used to calling the Meridian Centre home, will get to experience another top notch sports facility at the upgraded Welland Stadium, home of the Jackfish.
Ryan Harrison, President and Director of Fun for the Jackfish stated, “We are very excited for the opportunity to partner with such world class organizations and provide an amazing experience for fans, all while giving back to the community. The Jackfish can’t wait to welcome River Lions and IceDogs fans to The Pond for a summer of fun!”
In creating this ticket package, it was important to all three organizations to include a give back component and support a local charity in a time of year when they need it most. Selecting The RRPC Innovation Foundation as the recipient was a natural fit.
