River Lions Announce Minor Sport Appreciation Night Presented by Pete’s Pizza

St. Catharines, ON – The Niagara River Lions announced today that on March 24th they will hold their 3rd Annual Minor Sport Appreciation Night presented by Pete’s Pizza. The River Lions invite all minor sport teams in the Niagara Region to come together as a community to cheer them on as they tip-off versus the Kitchener Waterloo Titans.

Since its inception, the River Lions have been dedicated to growing sport at the grassroots level and recognizing the important role that sports play in helping children learn and develop many life skills including teamwork, confidence, and responsibility. Teams or individuals attending the game on Saturday are encouraged to wear their jerseys to show their pride and team spirit.

The River Lions along with Pete’s Pizza look forward to welcoming Niagara’s youth to the Meridian Centre for what’s sure to be an exciting match up.

Since 1984, Pete’s Pizza has been famous for its freshness. The family-owned business originally operated as a single store on 6 Pleasant Ave., and has since added seven restaurants across the Niagara region.
